José García Martínez, better known as Rabadeira (Rabadeira, April 11, 1952) was a Spanish footballer who acted as an forward. He spent much of his career at the Real Club Deportivo de la Coruña. He had to retire at 27 years old of football due to injuries.
Formed in the lower categories of the Real Club Deportivo de la Coruña, Rabadeira, named for having been born in a town in the municipality of Cerceda of the same name, plays for the first time with the first team in 1972. During the 1972-73 campaign , disputed 17 matches in First Division. In the 1973-74 season Deportivo played in Second Division, after descending the previous year. In this season he played 23 games and scored two goals, scoring the first on January 27, 1974 against Real Valladolid. Nevertheless, Deportivo chained a new descent, in this case to Third Division. After making a good season 1974-75 in third, Deportivo returns to Second Division, and Rabadeira, signs in 1975-76 what would be his best campaign with Deportivo, playing 26 games and scoring 5 goals. In the 1976-77 campaign he also played a large number of games, and in the following year his contribution with the team dropped dramatically. He only played three games with Deportivo.
