Amadeo Gasparini #7 Talleres de Córdoba (Argentina) Match Worn for Argentina First Division 1988-89. Provenance: Former Sports Doctor, Ernesto Prato.

Amadeo Raúl Gasparini (born in Caucete on January 24, 1961) is a former Argentine soccer player. He worked as an offensive midfielder and his professional football debut was in Talleres de Córdoba. With a vast and varied trajectory, Gasparini made the leap to Argentina's big football by wearing the Workshops shirt. His good performances took him to Spain, where he played in Malaga. With this club he obtained promotion to the First Division in 1982. He returned to Argentina, playing in Platense, Chacarita Juniors and Independiente de La Rioja. He emigrated again, this time to Canada, where he fulfilled very good performances, obtaining two runners-up and two inclusions in the All Stars Team of the Canadian Soccer League.2  In the 1989/90 season he played in Rosario Central, in a team plagued by youths who had a great performance. In Central he played 21 games and scored 3 goals, one of them in a classic against Newell's Old Boys enabling equality in two (game played on December 10, 1989).
