Alex #10 Club Internacional (Brazil) Match Worn Shirt for Campeonato Brasileiro "Brasileirao" 2008.

Alex Raphael Meschini  is a Brazilian footballer who serves as a midfielder for Internacional . He played for Brazil National Team from 2008-09. Alex started his professional career at Guarani in mid 2003 . The player played as a lateral defender at Brasileirão 2003 and later played in midfield where he showed his best style of play. In 2004 , at just 21 years old, he was transferred to the Porto Alegre International . He had a very important participation in the International team that won the Copa Libertadores , including scoring an important goal in the semifinal of the tournament against Libertad , and Club World Cup , in 2006 . In 2007 , he played for the Brazilian national team in the position of lateral defender, but was not very successful. The 2008 was the year of his consecration. Playing more advanced and forming an attack partner with Nilmar , he was the top scorer of the Gaúcho Championship (of which he was champion) with thirteen goals, and chosen the figure of the championship. In the Brasileirão he was one of the figures of the team and in the South American Cup of the same year he was one of the scorers of the competition, he scored a goal in the final and was the figure of the tournament. The 20 of February of 2009 , Alex was transferred from the International to the FC Spartak Moscow , at € 5 million. He was the fifth top scorer in the 2009 Russian Premier League with 12 goals. He was transferred from FC Spartak Moscow to Corinthians in 2011 for about $ 7 million. For Corinthians, he won the 2011 Brazilian championship in the 2012 Copa Libertadores. After winning the Copa Libertadores, he was transferred to Al-Gharafade Qatar for about $ 7.5 million. In July 2013, he returned to the Internacional , which paid about $ 5 million.
