Luis Antonio Ludueña #8 Talleres de Cordoba (Argentina) for Argentine First Division Torneo Metropolitano 1980.

Provenance: *PLAYER COLLECTION* direct provenance from former San Lorenzo player.

Luis Antonio Ludueña (February 21, 1954; Córdoba ) is a retired Argentine soccer player, who played in the position of midfielder. He started in formal soccer practice at the San Lorenzo de Córdoba club . Previously he had already played for neighborhood teams, at the Balcarce and Chacabuco clubs; until in mid- 1973 Talleres de Cordoba acquired it for a record figure of 15 million pesos. Angel Amadeo Labruna took him to the first division , and in 1975 Adolfo Pedernera confirmed him as a starter in the first team. He stood out in the Albino Blue squad in 1976 , playing the National of that year (where he is remembered for having converted the winning goal against Argentinos Juniors in the debut of Diego Armando Maradona 12 ) and making a tour in Africa . He played in workshops for 10 years, completing a total of 340 games with 113 goals. 3 was called by the then coach Cesar Luis Menotti to integrate Argentina Selection of the interior in a match against the Palmeiras . In 1978, is again called to play the world cup, with the team that would later become world champion. Finally, he could not integrate the squad, since the day before the concentration with the selected one in Mar del Plata, a tendon of his foot was cut that marginalized him from the international competition. However, when the year 1979 ended, he is summoned again by Menotti to play the Colombian pre-Olympic contest where he was champion, along with 6 other Talleres players: Quiroga, Ocaño, Binello, Astudillo, Bocanelli and Hoyos. In 1981, Talleres received an offer from Malaga in Spain for the "Ax", where the player did not want to go due to an economic difference in his pass. He is currently working in the Club that saw him born, San Lorenzo de Córdoba. He is the father of two well-known players:Daniel Emmanuel (nicknamed "El Hachita) and Gonzalo.
