Germán 'Basílico' González ( Bogotá , Colombia ; January 26 , 1952 ) is a former Colombian soccer player and coach . As a footballer he played in Independiente Santa Fe , a club he considers himself a fan of, and in Deportes Quindío . With Santa Fe , he was champion of Colombian Professional Soccer in 1975 . As a coach, he has coached Santa Fe , Deportes Tolima , Real Cartagena , Llaneros de Villavicencio ; and he was also a technician for theColombia U17 team , from Deportivo Lara from Venezuela . Currently, and for a time, he works at Independiente Santa Fe as part of the administration, in the manager position.
