José Omar Reinaldi , better known as La Pepona (born in Villa María on May 27, 1949), is a former Argentine footballer. He played as a forward and his first club was Belgrano de Córdoba . Reinaldi (River) in 1975. His appearance in national football was made by defending the Belgrano de Córdoba jacket in the 1968 National . At that time the Cordoba clubs could only participate in the First Division of AFA through the Nationals; most of the year they disputed the Cordovan Football League tournaments . Reinaldi was crowned its champion in 1970, 1971 and 1973. 2 His good performances led to his being hired by River Plate ; in this club he managed to break an 18-year drought without titles by obtaining the two championships in 1975, the Metropolitan and the National . 3 It continued during 1976 inBarcelona of Guayaquil . He returned to his native province to play this time for Talleres . He achieved three other titles in the Cordoba league (1977 to 1979) 2 and at the national level he was a scorer for Nacional 1978 with 18 goals. 4 In 1981 he entered a passage through Belgrano to dispute the Nacional . In 1983 he played first in Loma Negra de Olavarría , and then in Rosario Central . In the rogue box he played 32 games and scored 13 goals; one of them was in the Rosario classic on October 9, finished 3-3. There are also three goals converted toVélez Sarsfield , in the last ten minutes of the game and that served to win it 3-2, a match played on November 2. 5 The 1984 season was his last as a footballer and he divided it again between the two great Cordoba players: he played the Nacional for Belgrano and the Metropolitano for Talleres.
