José Omar Reinaldi , better known as La Pepona (born in Villa María on May 27, 1949), is a former Argentine footballer. He played as a forward and his first club was Belgrano de Córdoba.His appearance in national football was made by defending the Belgrano de Córdoba jersey in the 1968 National . At that time the Cordoba clubs could only participate in the AFA First Division through the Nationals; Most of the year they disputed the Cordovan Football League tournaments . Reinaldi was crowned its champion in 1970, 1971 and 1973. His good performances led to his being hired by River Plate ; In this club he managed to break an 18-year drought without titles by obtaining the two championships in 1975, the Metropolitan and the National.
