Manuel Earl (Lima , Peru , 28 as March as 1968 - New Jersey , United States , 5 as August as 2011 ) was a footballer Peruvian who served as defense . He was champion of the First Division of Peru three times, all with Sporting Cristal Earl began his career as a footballer in the late 80s , he joined the Sporting Cristal squad between 1987 and 1995 . Due to the aerial tragedy of the Alianza Lima Club in 1987 , Cristal lent him to the intimate team to reinforce the team for the 1988 Copa Libertadores and the 1988 Decentralized . He stayed one more season at Alianza Lima and then had a stint at Defensor Lima in 1990 . In 1991 he returned to Sporting Cristal obtaining three national championships: 1991 , 1994 and 1995.
