Miguel José Ortega (Itajubá, Paraguay, July 5, 1917) is a former Paraguayan soccer player. He is also known by the nickname Migueli. He played in South America for the Paraguayans River Plate Asunción, the Argentines Gimnasia de La Plata, the Brazilians Ypiranga and the Venezuelans Dos Caminos Sport Club. In 1946 he moved to Italy, to Genoa. He made his debut for Rossoblu on October 27, 1946, in a 1-0 loss to Vicenza. He scored his only goal for Los Genoveses against Pro Patria on November 30, 1947. He played for the Paraguayan National Team 12 times.
