Accessibility
Two things on one page: how we try to keep this website usable for everyone, and what the hotel says about access to its building.
This website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. Pages use one main heading and a logical order of sub-headings, text has strong contrast against its background, every illustration has a text description, the request form labels each field, and the site works with a keyboard alone — a skip link at the top jumps to the main content. Pages scale to small screens without sideways scrolling. Maps from Google load only when asked for on the front page.
If something does not work for you, write to [email protected] with the page address and what went wrong. We will fix it or send you the information another way.
The hotel
From the hotel's accessibility fact sheet:
- three accessible hotel rooms with wider bathroom doorways, and visual alarms for guests with hearing impairments;
- audible smoke alarms in all rooms;
- wheelchair-accessible parking spaces near the lifts, and lifts from the car park and foyer;
- ramps at all major entrances, including the hotel lobby;
- a reception desk at seated height;
- conference rooms reachable by lift and a chair hoist for stages.
The fact sheet does not cover hearing loops, assistance animals, pool access or bathroom fittings beyond doorways. Our page on accessible rooms explains how we check those details with the hotel before you book.
