Parking: rates, valet and the rules
The hotel has its own car park for cars and motorcycles. The rate sheet it links from its rooms page is dated November 2024 and was still the current link when we checked on 29 October 2026.
The published rates
| Who | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel in-house guests, self-parking | $12 per night | validate your ticket with the concierge or reception; enter and exit as often as you like within the 24-hour period |
| Hotel in-house guests, valet | $20 per night | same validation |
| Everyone else | $2.20 flat rate per hour | pay at the stations by the lifts on levels 1 and 2, or by card at the exit gate |
| Monthly parking | $135 per month incl. GST | limited spaces, application form, terms apply |
| Lost ticket | $25 flat fee plus the daily charges | paid at Guest Services by the casino entrance |
Card payments carry a 1.4% surcharge, and the sheet notes that Visa and Mastercard debit cards are treated as credit cards. The pay stations take cash and contactless Visa or Mastercard; the exit gate takes contactless cards only. The car park is monitored around the clock, and unauthorised long-term parking is not allowed.
Accessible parking
The accessibility fact sheet says the car parks have wheelchair-accessible spaces near the lifts, and that the lifts run from the car park levels to the foyer.
What the hotel does not publish
- Height clearance — relevant if you are driving a campervan or a 4WD with a roof rack.
- Electric-vehicle charging.
- The exact street entrance to the car park. The Google Maps route on the getting-here page takes you to the hotel; follow the signs from there.
If any of these decide your trip, add the question to your room request and we will put it to the hotel.
Parking for a reef day if you are not staying
One reef operator, Sunlover, points day visitors driving to the Reef Fleet Terminal to two car parks reached from Pier Point Road: the council's Southern Esplanade (Lagoon) car park and The Pier's underground car park. It asks people to allow time to park and walk before check-in closes.
For a stay built on reef trips, the Esplanade and dinners in the building, probably not — the terminal is about 100 metres away. A car earns its keep on Daintree and tableland days; for those, compare the parking cost with a guided tour that collects from the hotel.
