Premium Deluxe King and Twin — the Trinity Inlet rooms
The water-view rooms at the standard size. If one upgrade is worth it at this hotel, it is probably this one.

- Size
- 36 m² (hotel and Accor)
- Beds
- 1 king, or 2 singles in the Twin
- Outlook
- Trinity Inlet — water views
- Bath
- single spa + separate walk-in shower
What you get
The hotel gives a size for this category itself — 36 square metres — and lists the most extras of any standard room: a single spa bath with a separate walk-in shower, a private balcony, a Nespresso coffee machine, a daily newspaper, bathrobes and slippers, a USB charger and free Wi-Fi. The outlook is Trinity Inlet, the tidal water that runs past the city's southern edge.
Why the view matters here
From the water side you see what the city is built around: the inlet and the forested ranges beyond it. The hotel's event pages name Mount Yarrabah and the Nisbet Range as the skyline from its pool deck, which sits on the same side. On a reef trip the boats leave from the terminal on the waterfront, so the view is also the start of the next day.
King or Twin
The King is the couple's room. The Twin — two single beds according to Accor — is one of only two ways to get separate beds and a water view; the other is the Junior Twin Suite, which faces the city. A Premium Deluxe King with an accessible bathroom is sold as its own category, described on accessible rooms.
Premium Deluxe or a junior suite?
The Premium Junior King Suite also faces Trinity Inlet but adds roughly 18 m² and a double spa. If you plan to spend afternoons in the room — a wet-season stay, a rest day between two early boats — the suite is the better space. For a busy itinerary, the Premium Deluxe gives you the same view in a smaller room.
