How it is laid out
The hotel places the Exclusive Suite on its seventh floor, overlooking the city with water views, and describes a separate lounge room set behind sliding plantation shutters. That is the feature that makes it a true suite rather than a large room: one person can read or work in the lounge while the other sleeps. Accor lists a king bed and a double plunge bath; the hotel's own page calls the bathroom decadent and leaves it there.
Who books it
Couples marking an occasion who want more than a junior suite but not the full Presidential floor; travellers staying four or five nights who will use a lounge; a parent travelling with an adult child who needs a little separation. It is also the natural room for a wedding couple when the reception is in the building — see meetings, weddings and groups.
What we could not confirm
Whether there is more than one Exclusive Suite, whether a sofa bed is available in the lounge, and which way the balcony faces beyond the hotel's own words, "city and water views". Our desk can ask the hotel to confirm all three when it checks your dates.
Compared with the Presidential Suite
The Exclusive Suite is roughly two-fifths of the floor area. You give up the dining room, kitchen and office, and the wrap-around balcony; you keep a separate lounge and a high floor. For most couples that is the better balance.
